BOIL ORDER ISSUED – WELLMAN

A boil order has been issued for the City of Wellman. City officials state the boil order is due to a technical issue at the water plant which caused a loss of pressure. The area of town mainly effected is north of Highway 22.

Residents are advised to boil water before drinking it or use bottled water. Bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and food preparation until further notice.

Water samples will be taken today and tomorrow. KCII News will bring you more information as it becomes official.
