The Washington Demon volleyball team hosts Mount Pleasant tonight as they begin their second trip through the conference. Demon Head Coach Jeff Spenner says they anticipate playing tonight but he understands Mount Pleasant has had several students out due to flu so they may have to postpone the match. He says if the match has to be postponed there are a lot of open dates they’d be able to make up the match if needed. If they do play it will be a match between two teams that have been very competitive with each other. The Demons beat the Panthers in five early in the season at Mount Pleasant. The Panthers then beat Washington at the Ottumwa tournament in three games in a best of three match. Spenner says they have really been working on their passing and trying to simplify things. Tonight is Pack the Gym Night so all of the fans are urged to come out and support the Demons. First serve should be around seven in Demon Gym.
