Halloween Hike Held Near Full Moon

The naturalist at Marr Park says they change the date of their Halloween Hike each year for a reason. Pam Holz says they try to have it as close to the full moon as possible. She says they had it during a new moon one year, and it presented some problems due to the lack of light. She also says they try not to have it near the end of the month, because they don’t want to conflict with traditional Halloween events. This year’s Halloween Hike is October 10.
