Volunteer Program at WHS

Students at Washington High School are being encouraged to volunteer in the community. Principal Shane Ehresman says the Silver Cord Service Commendation will recognize students who have contributed to the community by offering them scholarships and other opportunities. Ehresman says students who complete the program will receive silver cords to wear during graduation and will be recognized in the commencement program.
