Students could be affected by two different types of flu viruses this year, but administrators at Washington Schools say that won’t change much. Superintendent Dave Sextro says they will not likely have to close any schools. Sextro says a closure would only happen if illness prevented an adequate number of staff from being present, or if a high volume of students were absent. Sextro says they’re also planning to offer flu shots in the schools.
