Gardening season is coming to a close, but people can still enjoy homegrown produce into the winter months. Patty Stiner is a health and nutrition specialist for the ISU Extension Service. She says there are a few long term storage options such as canning, freezing and drying. Stiner says which method you use depends on what your storing.
