The University of Iowa is being honored by US News and World Report as the 29th best public university in the country. According to a news release by the university, Iowa placed 29 out of 50 public schools nationwide. University President Sally Mason says the rating shows the school’s dedication to education even during an economic crisis and the 2008 floods.
