The Washington Public Library makes the move to its new facility this weekend. Library Director Patrick Finney says they’ve been planning, and organizing materials to hopefully make the transition as smooth as possible. Finney says anyone who wants to volunteer to help move can sign up for a time at the library. The new facility is expected to be open near the end of September. A grand opening ceremony is scheduled in October.
