Washington County Hospital and Clinics is showcasing it’s new digital mammography equipment during at the start of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Radiology Director Denny Brown says the equipment can display images immediately, and increases the number of patients they can see. The hospital says one in eight women will get breast cancer in their lifetime. The open house is scheduled for October first, from 5-7. The chamber of commerce is also hosting an alive after five event in conjunction with the open house.
