The Demon volleyball team lost to the Mount Pleasant Panthers last night in four. This was supposed to be played earlier this month but had to be postponed because several Mount Pleasant kids were sick with the flu. The Panthers took the first game 25-13, but despite Mount Pleasant jumping out to a 12-7 lead in game two, the Demons bounced back and responded taking the second 25-21. The Panthers won the third 25-14. In the fourth, the Demons were down 20-16 but came back to tie it at 22-22, but the Panthers took the fourth 25-22. The Demons close out the regular season tonight when they travel to face Fort Madison. Then they begin postseason play at Mount Pleasant on Monday.
