The Washington Demon football team gets ready to head on the road to play Clear Creek Amana this Friday and the Clippers high flying passing offense. The Demons are coming off a dramatic 21-20 homecoming win over Mount Pleasant in which they won with a 30 yard field goal from Parker Turner with about a minute left. The Demons did suffer a loss in the game in offensive lineman and defensive lineman Ricky Vasquez. Demon Head Coach Jason Ganoe says he didn’t really see exactly what happened but Vasquez pop his shoulder out of place and it’s likely he’ll miss this week and probably more. As the Demons prep for Friday, they will plan on facing an offense that only runs about five rushing plays the rest are passes and they use little quick passes to get them yards many teams get from inside run plays. Ganoe says they face a former Demon assistant Rodney Walls which is unique facing a family friend. The Demons are 3-1 in the district and the Clippers are 3-1.

The Demons JV team will head down to Mount Pleasant tonight with kick off at 5:30.
