The One to Count On...

Demons taking on Clear Creek Amana tonight

Posted: Friday, October 9th, 2009 at 8:38 am

The Demon football team is on the road tonight taking on Clear Creek Amana. Both teams are 3-1 in the district. By the way there was a rumor that Clear Creek Amana’s new football field had been vandalized and the game was going to be played at their old stadium, that is not the case and it will be at their new stadium. For Clear Creek Amana, they finished third in the district last season and one of their best seasons in years in fact before last season their last winning season was 2002 and since that time they had gone 7-38 including a 1-8 season in 08, but last season went 6-3 in the regular season and 5-2 in the district and lost to Centerville in the opening round of the post season. Demon Head Coach Jason Ganoe says they love to throw the ball and do it 95% of the time. Clipper Quarterback Blaze Smith has been hurt the last couple of weeks but is expected to be back in the line up tonight. The Demons at Clear Creek Amana tonight we’ll be on the air at 7-pm with the Federation Bank Pre-game Show. You can listen on the radio or online at just click on Radio Plus.
