Amid circulating variants of COVID-19, Henry County Public Health recently shared vaccine updates, as well as their immunization clinic schedule for area residents.

HCPH has received the updated Moderna vaccine for ages 12 and older, available during immunization clinic hours only. These are Tuesdays from 9-11 a.m., Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1-4 p.m., and the first and third Thursday of each month from 1-6 p.m. No appointment is necessary, but an insurance card is required, unless an individual is receiving the vaccine through a government funded program.

Flu shots are available during these clinic times for $35, or billed to an insurance provider. High dose flu shots are available for $85. A flu shot is recommended for anyone 6 months and older, and you may receive the COVID-19 vaccine in the same visit.

Additionally, HCPH is getting a limited supply of the new RSV vaccine for adults 60 and older. RSV is a common respiratory virus that can be dangerous for high-risk adults.
