Kalona Public Library’s Teen Advisory Board will hold a canned and non-perishable food drive next week. Youth Services Director Marissa Tartaglia says the event gives donors the chance to shave a few cents off overdue fines. She says for each item donated, the library will take off fifty cents off any overdue charge. All canned and non-perishable food items will be donated to the Kalona Food Pantry.
