The Mid Prairie School Board will be discussing state budget cuts during tonight’s meeting. Superintendent Mark Schneider says the district faces a 570-thousand reduction which the school will look to make up on its own. Schneider says there’s no way to make up expense cuts of that magnitude during the middle of the year. He says the board will have to keep a close eye on things like trip expenses, utility costs, and overtime.
