The old Washington Public Library could become the new city hall. Councilor Bob Shepherd…who also serves as a city representative to the 911 Board and Communications commission…says they could also help out some emergency service agencies in the process. The communications center is in the process of finding a new home. Shepherd says if they moved to what is currently city hall, that would give them, as well as the police and fire departments more room. He says the city offices would also be given more room in the old library.
