James “Jim” William Blosser

Funeral services for 65 year old James “Jim” William Blosser of Washington will be Friday morning at 11:00 at Calvary Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant. Burial will be prior to the service at English River Church of the Brethren Cemetery in South English at 8:30 am. Visitation will be tomorrow from noon to 7:00 at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington with family present from 4-7. Memorials have been established to Calvary Baptist Church and Hospice of Washington County.

Pekin gets Demons in five game match

The Demon volleyball team dropped a match in five last night to Pekin. Playing in Demon Gym, Washington came out and played well early in game one but had a lull spot where they committed several errors and Pekin got right back in it and took the first 25-16.
