Funeral services for 86 year old Hilda Marie Blum of Washington will be Tuesday morning at 10:00 at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington. Burial will be in Sharon Hill Cemetery in Kalona. Visitation will begin at noon on Monday with family present from 5-7 pm. Memorials can be made to the English River Church of the Brethren.

Funeral Services for 82 year old Dwight G. Bender of Kalona are at 2:00 Sunday (10/11) afternoon at the West Union Mennonite Church in rural Parnell. Burial is in the West Union Cemetery. Visitation is 2-8 pm tomorrow (10/10/) at the Yoder Powell Funeral Home in Kalona. Family will be present from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Memorials have been established to the church and Pleasantview Home.
