Richland is going pink later this month during the Passionately Pink for the Cure event. Organizer and five-year cancer survivor Darcy Hackert says they will raise money for the Susan G. Kohman Foundation, which supports cancer research. She says they will have nurses on hand giving free exams and a free will donation breakfast. Hackert says everyone is encouraged to wear pink to the October 10th event.
