Sass Family Farm south of Riverside will hold Pumpkinfest for families today. Cara Sorrells says her family started the event in 1997 as a pumpkin patch for the grandkids in her family. She says the event has since grown in size and in audience numbers. She says there will be hayrack rides, a haunted barn, as well as educational presentations about pumpkins, corn, and other local produce. The event will be held at 3060 160th St. south of Riverside. There is no charge for admission, but there will be a $4 charge for the hayrack rides
