The staff at Washington’s Stewart Elementary is laying out its corrective plan after being named a school in need of assistance by federal No Child Left Behind standards. Principal Rhoda Harris says part of that will include curriculum alignment. Harris says they will also address data analysis, student behavior and parental engagement. Stewart was identified as a school in need of assistance due to deficient math and reading test scores.
