Washington County Supervisors have authorized a specially hired law firm to file a petition on their behalf in a case centered on an ongoing dispute with the city of Riverside. Representatives of Meardon, Sueppel and Downer declined to state the nature of the petition, but did indicate they would file it sometime next week. Washington County and Riverside have been at odds over a revenue sharing agreement the two entered into when the casino was built.
