In Class A, WACO was a winner over HLV 35-13. HLV led early 7-0 but the warriors got a Spencer Shephard 21 yard touchdown run and went up 8-7. HLV got on the board again in the second to go up 13-8, but WACO had Tad Morrow punch it in making it 15-13 at the half. The Warriors shut out HLV in the second half and got two Tad Morrow touchdown runs, a Nathan Shelman punt return for a touchdown and Spencer Shepherd 67 yard run for a touchdown. Morrow 24-carries for 176 yards and Spencer Shepherd had 13-carries for 129 yards. WACO next will host BGM on Monday BGM beat Cardinal 41-6. On the other side North Tama beat Highland 56-0 North Tama will play North Mahaska next.
