Posted: Sunday, October 11th, 2009 at 6:56 am

Washington Residents wishing to take advantage of the city’s fall clean up have until 6:00 tomorrow morning to get their items to the curb. Loose materials need to be boxed, bagged or placed in a normal container. Wood and metal scraps need to be no longer than four feet. Appliances such as washers, refrigerators and microwaves will be taken. They need to have a sticker attached to them. They can be purchased at city hall for $15. Hazardous materials such as chemicals, waste oil and batteries will not be taken.
