The City of Washington is holding off on making lift station improvements so they aren’t completed before the new waste water plant. City Administrator Dave Plyman says if they the two projects don’t really fit together very well. He says if the lift stations we’re completed prior to the sewer plant, it would actually allow more waste to bypass treatment.
