A member of the committee that formed Washington County’s proposed zoning ordinance feels it won’t accomplish what it’s designed to. Steve Swaffer says zoning is intended to reduce conflict between neighbors. He feels this ordinance would reduce the amount of personal responsibility people take with their property and put it in the hands of government. Swaffer spoke on KCII’s Washington Page Program.
