The Washington County Communications Center is looking into why some tornado sirens didn’t work properly during a monthly test over the weekend. The center says some sirens continued to run longer than the normal test should have taken. They say in some instances, the sirens went off more than once. They’re checking to see if anything needs to be corrected to ensure the sirens are working and testing properly. Questions can be directed to the communications center at 653-2107.
