A Washington Demon basketball assistant coach has been recognized by the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association. Demon Boys Head Basketball Coach Bryce Smeins says long time assistant Ross Anderson was presented with the Roushar-Evans Award which Smeins says is given to assistant coaches that have invested a lot of time and energy into their programs and have done things the right way. Smeins says Anderson plays a big role in Demon hoops from being in charge of working with post players to overseeing the video, stats, and some of their online information. The Demon boys basketball team will kick the season off hosting Mid-Prairie December 1st.
