Football title games nearly set

All of the high school state championship football games will be set at the end of the day. Class 2A and 3A play their semifinal games today. In 2A, North Fayette, West Union will meet two time defending state champs and number one ranked Solon. Then Boyden-Hull-Rock Valley will face IKM-Manning. Then in Class 3A, Harlan will play Carroll followed by New Hampton taking on Pella. On Saturday in Class 1A, St. Albert Council Bluffs beat Prairie Valley, Gowrie 49-21, and South Winneshiek, Calmar beat West Branch 14-7. So here our the championship matchups for the title games being played on Friday.
8-Man : Lenox vs. Armstrong-Ringstead
A: Southern Cal, Lake City vs. Newman Catholic, Mason City
1A: St. Albert, Council Bluffs vs. South Winnesheik
4A: Iowa City High vs. Marshalltown
