An administrative recount from University Heights’ elections last week shows no changes from the original results. Johnson County Auditor Tom Slockett says a bipartisan ballot board canvassed the results from the recount and received approval from the Board of Supervisors this week. Last Tuesday’s elections turned out to be record-breaking, seeing a total of 414 residents cast their votes, including 70 early voters. Slockett says the 52-percent voter turnout was the highest of any city in the county.
