A local Catholic Priest says members of the church need to follow their conscious when it comes to health care reform. Fr. Paul Appel at St. James in Washington says even though the bill would do a lot of good, it does have the potential to mandate the use of federal dollars to fund abortion. Appel says the Catholic Bishop’s Conference sent out emails to thousands of parishes advising them on the abortion language in the health care bill.
