The Mid-Prairie boys basketball team kicks off their season tonight on the road against Williamsburg. Mid-Prairie Head Coach Don Showalter says heading in they’ll miss a few kids with Christian Boehmer, Micah Berg, and Cody Bontrager out with acl injuries. Showalter says in terms of returners Tanner Miller will be key along with Kaleb Duwa, Mark Aldeman, Dylan Hochstetler, and Michael Aldeman. As for the Williamsburg Raiders they are coached by former Mid-Prairie assistant Dave Schlabaugh and have all-state guard Chad Malloy back for his senior season. The Golden Hawks play at Williamsburg tonight and come to Washington for a boy-girl doubleheader tomorrow.
