Several girls basketball teams kickoff season tonight

The Highland girls basketball team opens their season hosting rival Lone Tree. Meanwhile IMS travels to Winfield to take on Winfield-Mount Union. It’s the opener for IMS, Winfield-Mount Union started their season with a win over West Liberty Friday. Sigourney opens their season tonight hosting English Valleys. Keota plays Tri-County in Keota. This is the second game for Keota, they lost to BGM Friday.

Christmas Concert

The Washington Choral Society will perform their Christmas concert “Joy” on Saturday, December 5 at 7:30pm at the United Presbyterian Church. They will be performing with the guest choir “Sound of Washington”. Tickets are available at the door, $10 for adults and $5 for students.
