Businesses are gearing up for the busiest shopping day of the year…the day after Thanksgiving, also known as Black Friday. Washington Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Tim Coffey says they’re making a push for people to do that shopping locally. Coffey says the chamber is distributing books with coupons from local businesses to the areas largest employers to try to entice residents from around the county to come to town and shop. Coffey says they’re also working with Main Street on the SNOW Holiday activities.
