A Wayland man has completed basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. Airman Jon D. Coakley completed the 8 week program which included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills. Coakley will is also receiving four credits towards and associates degree at the Community College of the Air Force. Coakley is 2009 graduate of WACO High School
