A former Winfield-Mount Union basketball player is among the list of athletes to be inducted into the Iowa High School Athletic Association’s Hall of Fame. Former Wolf Klay Edwards will be honored at the state basketball tournament. Edwards graduated in 94 and as a high school athlete at Winfield-Mount Union and was one of only six players ever to be named to the State Tournament All-Tournament Team three years in a row in 92, 93, and 94. Edwards made all-state twice and scored just under 2,000 career points. He went on to play at Iowa State.
