A Columbus Junction man was injured yesterday after his shotgun discharged while he was hunting near Wapello. The Iowa DNR says 47 year old Luis Jaramillo had just left his deer stand at the Indian Slough Wildlife Area when his gun discharged as he was unloading it. They say Jaramillo was hit in his left leg and foot. He was airlifted to University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City.
