Certain lots of the H1N1 vaccine are being recalled. The Centers for Disease Control says the vaccine lots are safe, but their strength was found to be below pre determined levels. The State Department of Public Health says roughly 28,600 doses of the affected vaccine were delivered to roughly 45 Iowa Counties. The FDA and CDC both say there is no significant reduction in the immune response in those who received the vaccine. They say because of that, there is no need to re vaccinate anyone who received one or both doses .
