The recent death of a Washington man at a local bar could spark a review by the city’s public safety committee. Robert Thomas Blankenship died after being found unconscious outside the 4th Avenue Bar and Grill. Police Chief Greg Goodman says the committee wants to see if Blankenship’s death is tied to safety in the town’s taverns. Goodman says they have identified two “persons of interest” in what’s now being called a homicide.
