An Iowa Mennonite School cross country runner has received an all-state honor. The Cross Country Academic All-State team was recently released and among those on the list is IMS Ben Wyse. Wyse is a senior and ran on IMS’ State Championship team this past fall. Wyse finished 43 of the 137 competitors, and before that finished 13th at the District Meet. To make the Cross Country Academic All-State list, an athlete must be a senior, have a 3.8 cumulative grade point average or higher, have a cumulative score of 28 or higher on the ACT, and be a state qualifier or finish in the top thirty at a District/Sectional meet.
