In Keota, the Eagles were hosting Sigourney. In the boys game Keota was hoping to remain unbeaten as it was close in the first quarter, but Keota Head Coach Dan Stout says they got a three from Clint Bombei to end the first quarter with Keota up 12-7, and in the second Joe Sereskie hit four threes and Bombei hit another to make it 41-17 Keota at halftime. He says their outside shooting opened things up underneath in the second half on their way to a 59-43 win. Joe Sereski led the Eagles with 26 points and Casey Sieren had 11.

In the girls game Sigourney won 52-31. Savage Head Coach Jenny Hobbs says they struggled a little with Keota’s press but in the second half they were able to break it a few times and get some layups. Plus they held Keota to a about a 12 minute scoring drought. Whitney Abrahamson had 15 points and 7 rebounds, Stephanie Atwood and Carolyn Holm each had 14.
