Press play to hear from Environmental Education Coordinator Katie Hammond
Louisa County Conservation is hoping to keep kids interested in learning over the winter break. The Langwood Winter Nature Camps will show them how animals survive the winter. It will take them to a bird blind and have them make a bird feeder. Environmental Education Coordinator Katie Hammond says the camp will be both indoors and outdoors. Kids ages 4-7 are invited to attend on Tuesday, December 29 from 10:00 am – noon. Kids ages 7-12 are welcome to attend on Wednesday, December 30 from either 9:00 am – 11:30 am or 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm. To sign up call 319-523-8381, or online at NaturallyLouisaCounty.com.
