Hamakua Place in Washington is planning a New Year’s Eve party. Center Director Deb Bodensteiner says they wanted to provide an alcohol free, alternative New Year’s Celebration. Bodensteiner says they have a Cedar Rapids based band headlining the event. She says there will also be prayer time and food. The event is open to all area youth and their families.
