New Garbage Sticker Deadline Approaching

The City of Washington is reminding residents to get their new 2010 garbage can stickers. Annual garbage can stickers for next year can be purchased at city hall for $75.00. The stickers must be on garbage cans before the first pickup in January.

The Washington Demon wrestling squad heads to Keokuk tonight for a conference dual. Demon Head Coach Brent Van Weelden says wrestling the Chiefs is always a challenge, they have won the conference title for the last few years.

Washington’s Davis receives Coach of the Year award
