Washington’s WIC, Women Infants and Children, clinics and immunization clinics will again be held in the Federation Bank building this week. Washington County Public Health Director Danielle Pettit-Majewski states the clinics have been moved from the former library building to the fifth floor of the bank building this week.

This is the second time this month the clinics have had to move due to the library building’s air conditioner being broken. The public health department rents space in the former library building from the City of Washington. The city council approved installing window air conditioning units not to exceed $5,000 and installing them in the space earlier this month.
