A Conesville man is facing multiple criminal charges in connection with a high speed chase in November that spanned over two southeast Iowa counties. 43 year old Robin Wyckoff is charged with eluding, harassment and second-offense operating while intoxicated. Police say Wyckoff was driving at speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour on Wapsi Avenue in Lone Tree on November 19 when a deputy tried to make a traffic stop. They say Wyckoff sped up and led the officer on a chase before crashing on 220th Avenue in Louisa County. Reports indicate he was verbally abusive to staff at the University of Iowa Hospital after being taken there for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. Wyckoff was lodged in the Johnson County Jail on $6,000 bond.
