Washington City Councilors are working on a revised code of ordinances. It deals with things like ice and snow removal, yard maintenance and decrepit properties. Ordinance Committee Chairman Mike Roth says the measure will help them “abate nuisances, especially against unsightly properties.” There will be a public hearing on the matter at Wednesday’s city council meeting.
