The Washington County Extension office is hosting a cow calf meeting this month. It will cover the future of the beef marketplace, weaning and backgrounding systems. A wide variety of beef and animal experts will be featured during the meeting. Cost is 20 dollars if registered before January 23, or 30 dollars after that date. Registrations will also be accepted at the door. The meeting is January 26. Contact the extension for more information.
