The Iowa State University Extension is offering a food safety training class this month. Safe Food is a three hour course designed to provide fundamental food safety and sanitation information. Nutrition Specialist Patty Steiner says it’s geared toward foodservice employees as well as those serving meals at churches, congregate meals and even large family gatherings.
