For the second time this season the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks boys basketball team scored 90 as they beat Meskawki Settlement. Mid-Prairie won 93-61 in Wellman. Golden Hawk Head Coach Don Showalter says Meskawki Settlement is in Tama and is a first year program. He says they like to play at a fast pace which created a lot of possessions for both teams. For Mid-Prairie Kaleb Duwa led with 18 points, Michael Aldeman and Tanner Miller each had 17 points Dylan Hochstetler had 12.

In the girls game Mid-Prairie led much of the game but Meskawki was able to come back to get the win 43-36. For Mid-Prairie Taylor Hershberger had 8 points and Katie Redlinger had 5 steals. The Golden Hawks go on the road to face Wilton tonight in a girl-boy doubleheader.
